Adam Pederson, Managing Principal and FounderAdam Pederson is the founder and Managing Principal of Digital Celerity. He has been working with enterprise enablement technology his entire career, focused on building best of breed integrated solutions for Fortune 100 companies, both as an individual contributor and as a program manager and architect. As an expert in Service Management process and the BMC Remedy ITSM software suite, IT Governance, and ITIL Adam has a long history of delivering solutions to solve the complex problems facing organizations today.
Adam is driven to create a solutions driven organization that enables success long after the project with Digital Celerity is concluded. His gift in this regard is hiring, training and motivating professionals who operate at a higher level for our clients.
As a technologist Adam is keenly interested in virtualization and cloud computing; as IaaS and SaaS are maturing into solutions that can enable the success of his customer’s service management goals.
Adam also believes strongly that "Abtoine de Saint-Exupery" was right when he observed that, “perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away” and strives tachieve perfection for our customers.

Bob’s insights and natural partnering style, acquired over a 20-year career, help our clients to efficiently and effectively achieve their business and IT objectives.
Bob brings to Digital Celerity an extensive experience in building and leading customer-centric professional services, and software solution sales organizations. Prior to his Managing Principlal role with Digital Celerity, Bob Schwartz led Xinify Technologies to achieve record growth, innovation and the highest levels of customer satisfaction. While at SE Technologies he grew the organization from 8 employees to over 600 wor ldwide with revenues catapulting from $1M to $68M globally. Bob was instrumental in launching Niku, Hyperion, Baan, Siebel, Oracle and Microsoft/Great Plains professional services practices and reseller organizations centered on customer enablement.
Bob knows what it takes to create a place where successful teams thrive, make a difference, and ultimately deliver on the improvement, and empowerment promise to our valued clients — sharing knowledge, exchanging ideas, and building community is his passion, and it’s proven to be contagious.

John provides Digital Celerity with over 30 years of Information Technology experience, having served as a Director of IT for international manufacturing, electronics, and aerospace and defense companies before becoming engaged in consulting services. He has also held management operations and staff positions in these industries. His consulting experience has included PPM and Call Center solutions, as well as leading ERP, C RM and EAI projects. John was instrumental in starting the CRM practice for a major Siebel partner, and served as Practice Director for the services delivery organization.
Using his broadly based background in business and technology, John brings a pra gmatic perspective to his engagements, one that looks for solutions that are both elegant and provide value to the client. He leads Digital Celerity's Clarity PPM Practice, and is a thought leader in Clarity PPM Financials, Integration, and Project & Portfolio industry best practices.
John is APICS certified, and holds an MBA in International Business from the Daniels School of Busin ess at the University of Denver.
Richard B. Shapiro, Solutions Architect, Engagement Manager
Richard came to Digital Celerity, LLC in 2009. He is an Engagement Manager and Senior Solutions Architect, with responsibilities in the US, Canada and the UK. Richard leads our Clarity Support practice and is one of the principal authors of the ePMO Project Management Portal. He came to Digital Celerity from Xinify Technologies where he was a General Manager and Senior Solutions Architect serving the needs of clients in EMEA and North America. At Xinify, Richard helped several major companies with Portfolio Management, Resource Management and Ideation processes, guiding their implementations with industry-wide best practices for their enterprise organizations.
Richard came to Xinify from Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines in Miami, Florida. Initially, he was asked to revamp the company’s major websites. After leading the team which brought royalcaribbean.com and celebritycruises.com into the e-commerce age, he was asked to mature, manage and administer the Program Management office. This office oversees the analysis of all IT work at the company, and plans future projects ensuring alignm ent with business priorities and efficient resource utilization. Richard established widespread process improvements over a 5 year period, including implementing Clarity project management, portfolio management, full financial management and resource management. He also led in the creation and implementation of a robust IT Metrics Dashboarding effort, bringing Clarity’s business actionable data to the Royal Caribbean leadership. Richard is a recognized leader in the PPM field. He has made many presentations on project and portfolio management and IT governance throughout the US.
Richard has been an repeatedly invited speaker at the Gartner Project and Portfolio Manageme nt Executive Summit, and his work was highlighted in the Gartner publication “Taking your PMO to the Next Stage” published in March 2006.
Noland is a Clarity PPM Solutions Architect/Engagement Manager who is widely recognized as a CA Clarity PPM thought leader. Noland is a CA Clarity-certified consultant and educator, a frequent guest speaker in the Clarity User Group Communities, a PMI-published author on Project Portfolio Management, and an acknowledged expert in CA Clarity Financials, and Open Workbench. He is an expert in the use of training development applications including CA CAPA and Camtasia Studio for advanced CBT product development. His CA Clarity experience started with ABT/ Niku Corporation where he served as a Principal Consultant providing PMO and Project Management consulting, training, coaching, and mentoring. Certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP), Registered Professional Engineer (PE), Clarity Functional, ITIL v3, and Prince2.
